South Yarra and Prahan

Tuesday 19th

We headed off to Prahan today via the train. Its not far from the central loop and when we arrived to went straight to a shop that sells every magazine you could possibly want! I bought a letterpress card from Hammerpress and another to give to Emma and Rob when we leave. We also went to Signed and Numbered which was a great shop selling art prints, the woman was really nice and I thought if every I start producing my own prints it would be a great place to try selling.
We had a wander up Chapel Street to Prahan Market, another great Market with lots of fresh produce and Thomas was intrigued by the Baklava! We didnt buy anything but had a good wander round. We then had a wander up the rest of Chapel Street and stopped for a massive burrito and nachos for lunch! There were loads of good looking places to eat but they were mostly at the bottom of Chapel Street which we didn't come across till after our burritos!
We were really tired and had a wander back to the train station but we stopped off for a quick wander round the arcades in town before heading back to the house. We stopped at Ganache Chocolatiers for a hot chocolate which was delicious, I had a hazelnut one and Thomas had mint, it was delicious and I cant wait for another one though I think Bracegirdles still ranks higher!!
We carried on for a little bit and Thomas had a waffle from Waffles and Coff which is a cool looking shop, was tasty but would have suited maple syrup!!
Back at the house we chatted to Emma for most of the evening and watched shit TV which was great, found out a lot of interesting stuff we didn't know about and had an enjoyable evening!
