Brighton Pier

Saturday 9th

Today we arrived at Seacliff, a 30 minute train ride out of the CBD but a pleasant train ride and a chance to see the residential area outside of the inner city. Seacliff is a few minutes walk from the beach with a really nice open promenade that takes you all the way out to Glenelg. Everyone was running, cycling or walking their dogs. Really nice laid back area, has a lazy sunday feel to it.
We arrived at Megan and Aaron's house around midday and met their lovely dog Bonnie! A red heeler, bull terrier, very friendly but a bit of a moulter!
After ditching our bags we had a brief chat with them but left them to get ready to meet their friends in McLaren Vale and instead we went for a wander up to Brighton Pier and went for some lunch at the Edge Deli (Minestrone Lentil soup with massive hunks of bread, luke warm lasagna for Thomas!)
In the evening Aaron dropped us off at the supermarket on their way to eet some friends so we got some pasta and sauce and a few provisions! Got the exchange rate wrong so were thinking everything was a lot more expensive than it actually is!!
