Glenelg and Adelaide CBD

Friday 15th

Today is our last day in Adelaide and we decided to catch up on everything we had wanted to do but hadn't managed to fit in.
First we got the bus to Glenelg, walked along the pier in the sun and properly explored the shops, it was alot nicer in the daytime and less touristy. We went to Bracegirdles for a final hot chocolate!! Will miss it so much- can't get it anywhere else!
We went to the post office and got some stamps to send our postcards back home.
We caught the tram from Glenelg station a bit later on which takes you right into the city. There is only one tram line in Adelaide and it was a nice trip into town in the sun.
We had a wander, got some postcards from one of the arcades and then headed back to Ebenezer Place for my much anticipated veggie burger from SAD cafe. It was well worth the wait, sweet potato and beetroot veggie patty, halloumi, avocado, lettuCe, aleoli in a kaiser bun and sweetcorn on the side! DELICIOUS!! Thomas didn't fancy anything on the menu so afterwards we headed into the central market to get Thomas some dinner, he bought a pretzel, brownie and a lamingtons cake. On the way out we spotted a really nice italian restaurant on the edge of the market where people where having some really tasty looking pasta!! We headed back to the house afterwards to pack and get everything ready for our early morning trip to the airport!
Adelaide was beautiful we will be sad to leave but we are both looking forward to Melbourne!
