Monday 11th
We had a very late start to the day and decided to go to Glenelg the coastal resort town along the coast. Aaron said we could get the bus but we decided to walk thinking it wouldn't be that far!! It was!! We walked for hours deciding first to go along Brighton Road then had a few detours trying to walk along the front only to find there was a point just up from Brighton that you could only access by the beach but the tide was in and we had to go back inland. Eventually we made it to Glenelg just as the sun was going down which was really pretty. We had a walk along the jetty and then had a venture through the town. It was quite a mix of outlets, touristy near the front with a mix of cafes and bars, including Nandos and then different shops further up the strip. We didnt go very far as we were so tired so instead we went into the Bracegirdles chocolate shop where Megan is a chocolatier and bought a bar of milk chocolate which was exceptionally good!! They have a coffee shop as well and everything looked delicious I could have bought everything!
We went into Coles supermarket and got a loaf of bread to have with our spaghetti back at the house. It wasn't the most eventful day but it was nice to watch the sun going down as we walked along the front and then the jetty.
